The 3rd Annual Rookie Showcase hosted by the Manitoba Women's High School Hockey League (MWHSHL) will take place April 27-29, 2026. This event is open to female student-athletes in Grades 9-10 who attend a high school that is a member of the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA).
In previous years, the Rookie Showcase has welcomed more than 200 participants and has proven to be a successful and accessible opportunity for female hockey players of all skill levels. Each team is guaranteed three games and one on-ice skills session. Following the round-robin portion, teams will advance to a playoff round culminating in a championship game.
The MWHSHL believes that hosting events like the Rookie Showcase is an important step in growing the female hockey community across Manitoba. Our goal is to provide a positive, competitive, and memorable experience for every participant.
