All Stars laced up their skates to raise money For Her Heart's Sake - raising $1185! Special thanks to the Glenlawn Lions, who single-handedly raised $530 For Her Heart's Sake and helped to organize an amazing draw!

For Her Heart's Sake is a special health initiative of the Victoria General Hospital Foundation and partners to fight women's heart disease - now recognized as the greatest health threat facing women today. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women, killing 1 in 3 every year, resulting in more deaths than all cancers combined. Research shows that risk can begin at age 20. As the best cure is awareness and prevention, we are proud to support this important women's health initiative.
