CTV Division A: Congratulations to VMC Trojans’ Taylor McDermot (goaltender) for an outstanding performance and remarkable turnaround. In the first game of the quarter final series, Taylor stopped only 12 of 18 shots; and in the next 2 games, both 2-1 victories over the FRC Centurions, Taylor stopped 27 of 28 shots and 33 of 34 shots respectively, advancing her team to the semi-final round.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to CLC Scorpions Kendall Smith (forward) who led her #7 ranked team to two straight victories over the #2 ranked Sanford Sabres. Kendall scored the only goal in a thrilling 1-0 game #1 victory, and then scored another goal and an assist in a nail-biting 3-2 game #2 victory, securing a spot for the Scorpions in the semi-final round.

CTV Division A: Congratulations to Westwood Warriors’ Emma Mitchler who had an outstanding performance in the qualifying series against the Springfield Sabres. Emma backstopped her team to a 2-1 series win by stopping 72 of 77 shots directed her way including a breakaway in the third period of their 2-1 victory and 2 phenomenal saves in the shoot out.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to Selkirk Royals’ Nadia Zelych who had a hot hand in the qualifying series against the Beliveau Barracudas, scoring 2 goals and 1 assist in her team’s 6-2 first game victory, and scoring another 2 goals in the deciding second game.

Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to Miles Mac Buckeyes’ goalie Grace Fedirchuk, who stood tall and stopped some scintillating shots to defeat the Sanford Sabres 2-1, and who continued her prowess the next day, stopping 22 shots to help defeat the SJR Eagles 4-1.

The following day, Jordyn chipped in 2 goals and added 2 assists in a heart stopping 4-3 over time win against the SMA Flames.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to PCI Saints’ MacKenzie van Aert who had a hot hand in the Saints 5-2 win over the West Kildonan Wolverines, scoring 2 goals and an assist. Two days later, MacKenzie played hard, smart hockey, helping her team beat the Selkirk Royals by a score of 5-0.

CTV Division A: Congratulations to SMA Flames’ goaltender Danielle Bonot-Schmidt. Danielle had one of her strongest performances this season, back stopping her team to one of two wins this week. She battled through traffic, controlled her rebounds well and stopped 24 of 26 shots, many with high degrees of difficulty.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to Shaftesbury Titans’ goaltender Sara Cusack, who back stopped her team to a 2-0 record this week. In game one, Sara made 23 saves early in the 5-2 win, and then she stood on her head in a hard fought 3-2 win stopping 42 of 44 shots.

CTV Division A: CJS Olympiens’ goaltender Caroline Girardin who posted a shut out and allowed only one goal in her second game of the week leading to her teams two wins. Caroline made key saves at key times to to help preserve her teams leads.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: WWHSHL congratulates Selkirk Royals’ goaltender Shayne Smellie who made 34 saves in her team’s lone win this week. Shayne finished the week 1-1 showing great poise in both games.

CTV Division A: Congratulations to FRC Centurions’ Cassidy Mazur, who had 3 points including the game winner in OT early in the week. She followed up a couple days later scoring 2 short-handed goals on the same penalty to help her team to the win.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to Beliveau Barracudas’ Signy Schellenberg on her incredible 3 goal game performance this week. Signy scored on the power play, short-handed and even strength for the first hat-trick of the season.

CTV Division A: Congratulations to CSHC Huskies’ Ashley Ross who scored a goal in their heartbreaking 5-3 loss to the FRC Centurions. Two days later, refusing to settle for anything less than a win, Ashley scored 2 crucial goals - one at the 4:54 mark of the 3rd period to tie the game and a blistering shot with 1:02 remaining securing the Huskies’ 3:2 win against the Oak Park Raiders.
Winnipeg Free Press Division B: Congratulations to Beliveau Barracudas’ Kailey Penner whose talent and determination repeatedly denied her opponents a glimpse of the net, ensuring a 3-1 victory over the CLC Scorpions this week. Paddle down and glove ready, Kailey stopped 25 - many highlight reel worthy - shots in this gripping and hard fought end to end game.
