CTV Division: Sharing this weeks honors, we also congratulate Miles Mac Buckeyes’ Jalissa Veren , who despite losing to CJS by a score of 5-2 , played exceedingly hard and aggressive in and around the net limiting CJS scoring chances.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to Alexee Klassen of the West Kildonan Wolverines, who had a terrific week by greatly contributing in each of the Wolverines 3 victories. Against the St. Norbert Celtics, she made several great offensive plays, generating 3 goals and adding 2 assists in this 7-2 victory.
CTV Division: Congratulations to Cassandra Jorgenson of the Garden City Gophers, who was red hot in her game against the Oak Park Raiders, scoring 5 goals and assisting on 1 other as they won by a score of 7-4.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to the West Kildonan Wolverines’ Alexandra Anderson, who was at the top of her game against the St Mary’s Flames, helping her team to a 9-3 victory by scoring 2 goals, assisting on 1 other and craftily making sharp passes.
CTV Division: Congratulations to the Balmoral Hall Blazer’s Rachel Dyck, who was brilliant in net, in a thrilling game against the St. Mary’s Flames, which resulted in a well-played 1-0 victory by her and her teammates over the first place Flames.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to the SJR Eagle’s Simone Kennedy, who had a hot hand in her game against the College Beliveau Barracudas. She worked tirelessly in the Eagle’s win over the Barracudas, scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists winning the contest 5-2.

Congratulations to Vanessa Klimpke of the Westwood Warriors, a dominating force as she scored 3 goals, assisted on one other goal and consistently set up her teammates to help lead her team to a 5 to 1 victory over the Miles Mac Buckeyes.

Congratulations to Kathryn Moss of the St Mary’s Flames, who scored a hat-trick as well as making some important defensive plays, in a closely fought battle against the College Beliveau Barracudas which St Mary’s won by a score of 4 to 3.
CTV Division: Congratulations to Amanda Schubert of the Garden City Gophers, who stopped 53 shots in a hard fought 2-1 loss against Westwood; and then later in the week, backboned the Gopher’s victory, stopping 40 shots to beat the Sanford Sabres 5-3.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to the SJR Eagle’s Melissa Russell, who was instrumental in her team’s hard fought win over St Mary’s 4-1, scoring the first goal and the game winner; and, who also scored the winning goal for the Eagles thrilling 2-1 win over the John Taylor Pipers.

Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to the River East’s Kodiaks’ Sydne Valiquette who played an outstanding game against the Division leader West Kildonan Wolverines. Although River East lost 4-0 Sydne stopped 76 shots in the effort.
CTV Division: Congratulations to Sanford Sabres’ Madison Erb who was instrumental in helping her team beat the Vincent Massey Trojans 6-2 with 3 goals and 1 assist. She played an outstanding game.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to River East Kodiaks’ Taylor Bell who scored 4 out of 5 goals in the Kodiak’s 5 to 7 loss against the Fort Richmond Centurions.
CTV Division: Lord Selkirk Royal’s Cara Pollock who despite their loss to Dakota 5 to 1 displayed an outstanding attitude on the ice. She worked hard and when she was on the ice she was always smiling and enjoying the game.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: SJR Eagles Melissa Russell who worked extremely hard throughout the game in their thrilling 3 to 2 win over the St Norbert’s Celtics. She assisted on the opening goal in a well played game.

Winnipeg Free Press Division: Congratulations to Fort Richmond Collegiate’s Jessica Kaminsky who scored all 6 goals in a hotly contested battle against the Kelvin Clippers. With seconds to go, Jessica scored an empty netter to secure a 6-4 victory.
CTV Division: CTV Division A Player of the Week is the St Mary’s Flames forward, #9, Steffi Grossi, who helped lead her team to a 10-2 victory over the Dakota Lancers. This rookie’s consistent effort realized 1 goal and 3 assists.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: And from one of our two new teams to the League, College Beliveau’s #9 , Devyn Griffin. This rookie player scored 1 goal and 2 assists, and showed great on ice sportsmanship, in the 9-1 victory over the River East Kodiaks.
CTV Division: CTV Division A Player of the Week is the PCI Saints Deann DeGraeve who scored two goals in leading her team to a thrilling win over last year’s champions Oak Park Raiders. An impressive winger, Deann scored her second and winning goal with less then 3 minutes remaining in a fast and furious end to end game.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Winnipeg Free Press Division: B Player of the Week is West Kildonan’s Christine Johnson who out-performed several athletes, setting up and assisting goals, and shutting down the River East offensive effort in a 9 to 1 win over the Kodiaks.
CTV Division: College Jeanne Sauve’s Nicole Carswell scored the tying goal against Vincent Massey with less then 3 minutes remaining in a very exciting game after being down 4-1 at one point. She also managed to score an earlier goal to start the comeback.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Brooke Morin, goalie of the St Norbert Celtics helped backstop her team to a hard fought 2-1 game over St Mary’s Academy Flames by stopping all but one of the 32 shots directed her way.
CTV Division: Courtney Zajac #16, Vincent Massey Trojans, was instrumental in helping her team beat the PCI Saints by a score of 5-0. She worked hard continuously throughout the game and never stopped skating until the final whistle.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: FRC was losing 4-2 mid way through the second period until Jessica Kaminsky #8 took over, scoring 4 goals and assisting on 3 others to lead Fort Richmond Collegiate to a 11-4 win over the John Taylor Pipers.
CTV Division: Amanda Schubert # 1, goalie of the Garden City Gophers who stopped 69 out of 71 shots in a thrilling tie game (2-2) against last years City Champion Oak Park Raiders.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: Nicole Gulay # 1, goalie of the St James Jimmies who stopped 32 out of 33 shots to lead her team to a 3-1 victory over the Kelvin Clippers.
CTV Division: #35 Meagan Sawyer, SH Huskies, for incredible goal tending, stopping 26 shots to beat Miles Mac 1-0.
Winnipeg Free Press Division: 21 Erin Brolly, Kelvin Clippers, who scored 1 goal and an assist in a hard-fought win over the Pipers 3-2.
