Division 1: Kadence Cress, Churchill Bulldogs, Forward #2
Kadence started off the week scoring 2 goals in their 4-0 win over the West Kildonan Wolverines on Monday. She followed that up with another goal and an assist in the Bulldogs thrilling 2-1 win over the Shaftesbury Titans on Thursday. She assisted in the Bulldog’s first goal and scored the winner through determination and hard work. She was a leader on the ice and a key contributor in the win due to her offensive and defensive skills. Congratulations Kadence!
Division 2: Giordana Gigliotti, Westwood Warriors, Forward #9
Giordana started her week with the game opening goal against the Selkirk Royals on Tuesday. She also added an assist in the Warriors hard fought 5-2 victory over the Royals. On Friday, She had a repeat performance where she once again scored a goal and an assist in a 6-3 win over the CPET Canadiennes. She had a nose for the net and worked extremely hard all week. Congratulations Giordana!
Division 3: Eve Kubesh, Murdoch MacKay, Forward #71
Eve was instrumental in Murdoch MacKay's double header against the PCI Saints this week. Eve scored the first goal in a hard fought 2-1 win on Monday and followed it up with 2 primary assists in a 3-1 win three days later. On Thursday, Eve set up the first goal by taking the puck to the net along with the attention of a couple defenders allowing her linemate to score on a juicy rebound. For the next one, she won a zone faceoff and sent the puck straight to her defensive teammate who scored from the point. Congratulations Eve!
