Division 1: Kaylin Lins, Oak Park Raiders, Forward #17

Kaylin was an excellent playmaker in the Raiders game on Wednesday against the Churchill Bulldogs. It was an exciting game with the Bulldogs almost completing the comeback as Oak Park came out strong and put them on the ropes scoring 4 goals in the first period. Kaylins forechecking created havoc and earned her a goal and a pair of assists. She also made some good defensive plays late in the game to preserve the win by a score of 5-4 for the Raiders. Congratulations Kaylin!

Division 2: Mikayla Clarkson, Selkirk Royals, Forward #5

Mikayla was instrumental in helping her team to two victories this week. On Thursday the Royals beat the feisty JH Broncos by a score of 6-3 with Mikayla scored early in the third period opening the flood gates for her teammates to score 4 more. In their 6-4 win over the John Taylor Pipers on Friday, she earned the hat trick. She had her way with the puck in the offensive zone and always found the right place to be when she didn’t have the puck which lead to her success. Congratulations Mikayla!

Division 3: Analeisa Tratch, SJR Eagles, Goalie #35

Analgesia helped her team be victorious in a hard fought battle against the Springfield Sabres on Wednesday. She stole the game for her team by making 42 saves on 43 shots while her team only had 12 shots. The Eagles were outplayed but she stood tall and kept them in it for a 4-1 victory. Congratulations Analeisa!
