Division 1: Jovi Wozny, Glenlawn Lions, Goalie #31

Jovi kicked off the new year with her 4th of the shutout of the season. On Friday the Lions took on the River East Kodiaks where she was a brick wall, playing her angles and flashing the leather. She frustrated the Kodiak shooters long enough for her team to pot two goals in the first frame leading the charge in their 7-0 win. Jovi has played all 700 mins of her teams 14 games played this season so far and has earned herself a 1.71 GAA and a 0.937 save % ranking her number one in the division. Congratulations Jovi!

Division 2: Ella Manness, Sanford Sabres, Forward #2

Ella played a major role in her teams win to start the second half scoring the game winner in the Sabres thrilling 2-1 road win against the Oak Park Raiders on Friday. She was a force to be reckoned with in the offensive zone all game, back checked hard to make an effective pest of herself in the defensive zone, and helped lead her team to victory through her tenacious play. Ella continues to lead her team as she has now 14 goals to go along with 5 assists putting her at the top of her teams leaderboard with 19 points in 15 games played. Congratulations Ella!

Division 3: Brenya Kapusta, Dakota Lancers, Forward #10

Brenya had a solid game on Friday scoring 4 goals in her teams 6-2 win over the Kelvin Clippers. She was dominate right from puck drop and was the first on the puck every shift thereafter. She fought hard for the puck, winning every battle that she was involved in. Brenya leads not only her team in points but also the division with a whopping 29 goals in 14 games added to a total of 36 points. Congratulations Brenya!
