Delainey is a star shining brightly with the Glenlawn Lions as she ended the first half of the season scoring a hat trick (3 goals!) in the convincing 6-3 win over the Churchill Bulldogs. She was a force on the ice and is feared by other teams with her high skill level and an ability to make something out of nothing. Delainey leads her team and division in points with 20 goals and 6 assists for a total 26 points in just 13 games - averaging 2 points a game. Congratulations Delainey!
Divison 2: Cali Lavallee, West Kildonan Wolverines, Forward #9
Cali scored 2 goals in a 4-1 victory over the PCI Saints on Monday and then followed up by adding 2 assists in a thrilling 2-1 win over the Garden City Gophers that Friday. She skated hard and helped her team control the play while she was on the ice. Cali is also leading her team and the division in points with 28 goals and 4 assists for 32 points averaging 2.29 points per game. Congratulations Cali!
Division 3: Talia Stadnyk, JH Bruns Broncos, Forward #7
Talia was a breakaway savant in her Monday game against the Springfield Sabres. She netted 2 goals and added an assist in a 5-4 win. Three days later she earned herself a hat trick with 3 big ones in a 4-0 win over the Barracudas. Talia is also leading her team in points with a total of 20 goals and 10 assists for an average of 2 points per game. Congratulations Talia!
