Ending December 1, 2023

Division 1: Kate Chubak, SMA Flames, Forward #88

Kate Chubak was a solid all around player with great hands netting herself 2 goals and giving her team the momentum to carry through the remaining minutes on Tuesday. She is a leader and a role model to her team mates and was an important player in the Flames 4-3 victory over the Churchill Bulldogs. Kate has played in 8 games and has accumulated 11 points averaging just over 1 point a game and making her the leading goal scorer for the Flames. Congratulations Kate!

Division 2: Reece Bauer, Lorette Scorpions, Forward #10

Reece displayed her leadership, hard work and determination and was the hardest worker on the ice from both teams. She led her team on the ice and worked as any great captain would to keep the team together. She helped her team in both the offensive and defensive zones. Although Reece didn’t gather any points in their 2-1 victory over the Portage Saints on Monday, her ability to keep her team together helped them immensely to come out the winners. Congratulations Reece!

Division 3: Annick Espenell, Beliveau Barracudas, Defence #2

Speedy defenseman Annick was a constant threat on the ice on Monday against the Kelvin Clippers. Between her end to end rushes and determination to both score or to stop a possible goal against she was a great leader, leading by example. Annick was a valuable addition to her team, netting 2 goals in their 7-2 win against the Clippers. Three days later she was instrumental in their second win over the Clippers by a score of 3-1. Congratulations Annick!
