Division 1: Lainey Harding, CJS Olympiens, Forward #11

Lainey was able to outwork her opponents along the boards on both the defensive and offensive side. She created good opportunities off the rush and scored 1 goal in a 3-2 loss to the Sanford Sabres on Tuesday. On Thursday, she had an outstanding performance, using her speed, skill and physical play to earn 2 assists and help the Olympiens win in a close 4-3 score. Lainey came out flying on Friday and was an absolute force throughout the game helping her team again to a exciting 2-1 win to move on to the next series. Congratulations Lainey!

Division 2: Roxie King, Churchill Bulldogs, Goaltender #1

Roxie was outstanding for the Bulldogs on Tuesday, stopping 17 out of 18 excellent shots by the CSLR Renards. However, the Bulldogs fell to the Renards by a score of 1-0. On Thursday, she stopped 33 out of 33 shots earning herself a shutout. Even though her team could only muster 9 shots, the Bulldogs managed to take a 1-0 victory. On Friday, she battled hard, stopping 32 of 33 shots. She quickly covered pucks and absorbed whatever shots she could into her chest, her calm demeanour leading the Bulldogs to both a 2-1 win in the game and in the series. Congratulations Roxie!

Division 3: Leah Robinson, Beliveau Barracudas, Goaltender #31

On Monday, Leah stopped 19 out of 20 shots for the Barracudas however, the PCI Saints claimed a 1-0 victory. The next day she came back and made some unbelievable saves, earning the Barracudas a 3-2 win after stopping 43 out of 45 shots. Friday was a make it or break it game and Leah showed just how much that meant. She made some key saves and stopped all 28 shots that came her way. Her skill and determination helped the Barracudas win the series. Congratulations Leah!
