Division 1/2 - East: Cali Lavallee, Forward #9

Cali worked hard all game on Monday and was a standout in the Wolverines 4-3 loss to the CSLR Renards. She kicked started her team with a nice shorthanded goal. Her unassisted hat trick was earned with aggressive forechecking and impressive puck handling abilities. On Thursday, Cali dominated from start to finish, leading the way with an incredible 4 goal performance. Her speed, awareness and finishing ability set the tone in her team’s commanding 8-1 win over the Selkirk Royals. Congratulations Cali!

Division 1/2 - West: Megan Humniski, Shaftesbury Titans, Forward #3

Megan is an aggressive player but plays within the rules. She worked hard every shift, digging in the corners to free the puck and creating scoring chances. Her hard work paid off with 2 goals on the score sheet in a 3-1 win over the John Taylor Pipers on Wednesday. Much of her time on the ice was seen in the attacking zone. Congratulations Megan!

Division 3: Avery Walker, Murdoch MacKay, Goaltender #30

Avery was at her best this week as she stopped all 20 shots that came her way on Wednesday in a big 6-0 win over the Portage Saints. She made some glorious saves to keep her shutout. The next day, she continued her unbeatable play as she stopped all 30 shots in a 5-0 win over the Beliveau Barracudas for another shutout. She saved some excellent shots and came out of the week with zero goals against in a 50 shot week. Congratulations Avery!
