Ending January 17, 2025

Division 1: Kate Chuback, SMA Flames, Forward #88

Kate had a great week propelling herself to second place in league points. On Wednesday, she was all over the ice. She netted two goals back to back, including the game winner. She also assisted on another goal in the third to lead the Flames to a 5-1 victory over the West K Wolverines. The next day, on the road vs the Oak Park Raiders she was able to start the passing play for a goal early in the third that propelled the Flames to four straight goals in the close knit affair that was a 6-5 win. Congratulations Kate!

Division 2: Katie Watson, Garden City Gophers, Forward #3

Katie played two monster games in a back-to-back affair with the John Taylor Pipers for a five point week. On Thursday, she recorded two goals and an assist in the Gophers thrilling 5-4 win. She scored her teams opening goal and netted the game tying goal with less than 6 minutes to go in the third period. The next day she added another two goals however the Gophers fell 6-3 to the Pipers. Congratulations Katie!

Division 3: Leah Robinson, Beliveau Barracudas, Goalie #31

Leah was stellar in the Beliveau Barracudas game against the Springfield Sabres on Tuesday. She stopped 16 of 16 shots in a tight win for her second shutout of the season. She made some incredible saves in a game that was scoreless going into the third period and ended in a 2-0 win for the Barracudas. Congratulations Leah!
